Justin Hayward discusses the Moody Blues concert at NYCB Theatre at Westbury

I really enjoy the NYCB Theatre at Westbury and I especially like the stage turning - you get to see the audience close up (every few minutes) and anyway, the feeling that you get on stage is that the audience is turning, except when it gets to the end of it's travel and the stage returns, or unwinds! Then you have to be ready for the jolt. The downside is that we can't get our full production - the screens, films, lights and risers into the building. I think our normal stage set up is great, and I miss all those visuals. But Westbury is a very comfortable gig to play, with good catering and dressing rooms etc, as well as a brilliant crowd. I like it, and I hope they ask us back.
